Quit Smart® Smoking Cessation Program
Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of cancer in the United States. Cigarette smoking is linked not only to 18 different types of cancer but also a leading cause of heart disease, stroke, and other respiratory ailments such as coughing and wheezing.
We recognize the challenge one may face along the journey towards becoming tobacco free. We are here to help you and will provide the tools and support needed as you make the change from “I should quit” to “I can quit” to “I am a non-smoker!”
The Center for Integrative Oncology and Survivorship at Prisma Health Cancer Institute offers the nationally recognized QuitSmart® Smoking Cessation Program. Along with a QuitSmart® certified nurse practitioner and nurse navigator, you will receive the tools you need to achieve your tobacco free goal. Together, we will assess your readiness to change and customize a plan to meet your needs at a pace that works for you.
Making the decision to quit smoking is one of the most important actions one can take to improve the health and quality of life for yourself and for those closest to you. We look forward to helping you be smoke free.
