Healthy living classes

CSC classes and programs provide opportunities to strengthen the body, mind and soul.  Through movement, exercise, mindfulness, nutrition and spirituality, these offerings allow you explore, learn and maintain lifestyle behaviors that are helpful to you. Through our healthy living classes, participants decrease stress and anxiety, learn how to better manage their thoughts and emotions, increase stamina, decrease fatigue and eat mindfully. All classes are taught by licensed or certified professionals. These classes are open to anyone in the community who has been impacted by a cancer diagnosis in any way.

Weekly classes include:

  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Chair Exercise
  • Tai Chi
  • Walking Groups
  • Barre
  • Healthy Way Nutrition
  • Mindful Meditation
  • Qui Gong

Quarterly courses include:

  • Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
  • Hula for Health

Note that all classes are taught with the recognition that individuals have limitations at different points in time. Class instructors provide options so that everyone can participate regardless of experience or present ability.
