Carolina Dermatology expands to Easley

Wednesday, August 4, 2021

GREENVILLE, S.C.—Prisma Health’s Carolina Dermatology practice has expanded to Easley and will provide comprehensive dermatologic care for children and adults. Jeremiah A. Miller III, MD, who is board certified in dermatology, will practice at the new office, which opened Monday, Aug. 2. The office is at 112 John St., Suite 201, and will be open 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

As part of one of the largest dermatology practices in the Upstate, the new Carolina Dermatology of Easley office will provide care for skin conditions such as skin cancer but also issues such as rosacea, acne, rashes and warts. The practice also has an office in Greenville.

“I’m really looking forward to practicing at the new office and hopefully making it more convenient for patients to see a physician who specializes in issues related to their skin,” said Miller.

Miller urged anyone who experienced a change in moles over the past year or has a sore that doesn’t heal to contact their physicians to ask if additional evaluation is needed.

“Unfortunately, the pandemic caused many people to delay routine care which is where early-stage issues are frequently spotted. Skin cancer, if caught early, is usually very treatable. We always want to identify potential issues early so that we can provide treatment as quickly as possible,” said Miller.

The dermatology practice is located on the campus of Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital, which is within convenient driving distance of surrounding communities like Anderson, Clemson, Liberty, Piedmont, Pickens, Powdersville and Seneca.

For additional information, including appointments, patients can visit or call 864-233-6338.

“We are committed to providing access to outstanding specialty care that is convenient and located closer to where patients live and already receive their primary physician care. It is exciting to have the expertise of Dr. Miller providing dermatology services in this community. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care across the Prisma Health footprint and beyond,” said Peter Tilkemeier, MD, chair of the Department of Medicine for Prisma Health in the Upstate.
