Taking care of our community
At the Prisma Health Internal Medicine Ambulatory Care Center, we have been taking care of our community for more than 50 years, providing treatment of chronic conditions and acute problems.
Throughout this time, our clinic has served as a major site for educating students and residents of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and Prisma Health Richland Hospital. Formerly known as the Internal Medicine Residency Clinic, we strive to provide excellent care and a wide expanse of treatment opportunities to meet our patients’ needs.
Patients choosing our practice are cared for by a single primary care resident physician, but benefit from the expertise of our larger team including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, counselors and patient access specialists.
